How do you get rid of chewing gum?

Almost nothing sticks to surfaces as stubbornly as chewing gum. It is considered one of the most difficult types of contamination to remove.

Chewing gum on car interiors, cotton, wool, carpets, leather—how can it be removed without damaging the material? Heat? Freezing spray? Steam? — Often without success.

Simply apply it, allow it to react for 1–2 minutes, and then gently remove the gum with a brush (for example, a toothbrush or a similar brush).
